Some Awesome Friends reunite & AwesomeThom amends a tradition

Mark and Brendan had an off-campus weekend this Sunday so Dave and I were able to hang out with them.

We continued our (by which I mean mine and Dave's) unbroken tradition of getting together for brunch after the early morning Mass at CTK (though I diverged slightly from my usual brunch fare and opted instead for banana-pecan pancakes rather than the slightly-tired breakfast sandwich option ... oh well, in the famous and frequently-quoted words of a rather-infamous AMC professor: "law was made for man, not man for the law" {which is also hasten to note is actually also the inspirationally-quoted wisdom of our most high Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, G.O.D., D.I.V.I.N.E.,})

And furthermore, now that I get to thinking about banana-pecan pancakes, I find myself really hungry. In fact, I'm abrogating this post in mid-narration to go attend dinner before those ravening hords of hoi poloi Sacred Heart students scarf down everything remotely worth eating.

Leaving you hanging in the balance... and hungering for more,

-AwesomeThom

Yep Mona you're right. Kind of like "Vulgus" in Latin (a word my Austria roomate Anthony Jay used to describe the Steubenville students . . . "the masses screaming for their bread.")
