Feast of St. Cecilia

Today is one of my favourite Feast Days, having as I do a number of family and friends under St. Cecilia's patronage. I took the picture of St. Cecilia in glory this May from a rather awkward position inside the Basilica of St. Cecilia in Rome. As you may imagine, my photography skills don't do justice to one of the most beautiful ceiling in the Eternal City (especially because I couldn't figure out how to make the whole picture fit in the post. When I took the photo, I didn't actually cut anything out.
