Oh Jeremy Irons, how far have you fallen?

Jeremy Irons, who played the character of Charles Ryder brilliantly in the 1981 BBC classic, has unfortunately decided in his declining years to totally go off the deep end. And I do mean totally.

Exhibit A, Mr. Irons appearing at a recent awards ceremony:

Apparently he decided to blend together the last several roles he had as an actor into one horrible fashion accident: cowboy, 20's flapper, sea captain, upscale waiter and cyclops. Oh, the utter horror.

Watch out Thomas... you have seen the ghost of Christmas future... change now before it is too late.

Is it like looking into a mirror?

I liked him better as the head announcing to Hichhiker's characters that they were about to be destroyed by missiles for approaching Magratheia. He should have stuck to those sorts of appearances.
Don't let it happen to you, Thom.
And see what happens to fellows who don't shave, Klobe. They start off small. And then, an abomination such as Jeremy Irons now sports. Where is Jeeves when you need him?!
