That is "MR. McNALLY" to you!!!:

The Highlands School
"To Teach To Educate To Form"

The Highlands School was founded in 1986 with six students in one of the founder’s homes. In 1992, the school moved to its existing facilities and operating control of the school transferred to the Legionaries of Christ in 1996. The Highlands School is recognized as a Diocese of Dallas School by the Most Reverend Charles V. Grahmann, under the supervision and direction of the Legionaries of Christ. In 1999, The Highlands School became a fully-accredited Catholic school by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department (TCCED) and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in 2006. This year, for the second year in a row, The Highlands School was recognized by the Acton Institute as one of the Top 50 Catholic High Schools in the United States. The 2006-2007 school year marks the 20th Anniversary of The Highlands School and enrollment has grown to over 415 students. The campus is located on 35 beautifully wooded, rolling acres in Irving/Las Colinas, Texas, just 15 minutes west of downtown Dallas and adjacent to the University of Dallas campus.

That is right! I will not only respond to:

"Awesome Mr. McNally"

As I am now a 'Highe Sckooll Englush Teecherr'!

I will be teaching American Literature and Journalism to 9th, 10th, and 11th grade boys and girls!

My first day of work is August 14th and my first day of class is August 22nd.

~ The Awesome Teacher

A.S. As a Catholic School they have daily confession and Mass! Not to mention a whole bunch of other really cool Papist-esque perks!

I wish I could be there . . . to see you fail! Here's 5 easy tips for a successful first day:

1. Don't wear pants. It almost always pays in an orthodox Catholic environment to wear a kilt. If you don't have one, I'm sure Meghan could lend you a skirt.

2. Avoid eye contact. This establishes your superior intellect and control over the classroom. Try staring at things like the clock or the crucifix on the wall (prayers such as, "Lord please let me survive the day" are usually helpful).

3. Never blink. If you blink, you display hesitancy and dependence and hence weakness. Applying eyedrops every few minutes should help your eyes from drying and cracking.

4. Talk very loudly. If they talk louder than you, they own you. Also, don't let them talk at all. You don't want some wonderkind student to show you up. If he does, terms such as "nerd," "brown noser," and "knowitall" should put the little snot in his place.

5. Use gestures to prove your point. In fact, if you can act out the subject matter, the students will learn it better. Who could erase the memory of Sean McNally as Joan of Arc (see Meghan again for the skirt for Joan's days at home)? Sear the memory into their malleable little minds. Clap blackboard erasers together for special effects.

Hope this helps.
