Dr. William Riordan was honored today at Sacred Heart Major Seminary's annual alumni appreciation dinner. He was awarded the Outstanding Past Faculty Award. He was not able to fly up from Florida to accept the award personally (although he did write an acceptance letter) due to his having a Monday morning class (ugh). I was never able to take any of his classes, or even meet this famed and beloved Ave professor since he left AMC for AMU the year that I came to Ave. I was disappointed again...I should have liked to have shook his hand for once...but ah well! I was just happy to see an Ave professor of beloved memory honored in such a way. Thought all you Awesome Friends would like to know.

Riordan's the shiznit. I got to sit in one of his classes when I was visiting Ave. Wish I'd taken one of his courses . . .
The tearing-paper-man.
Well do I remember his final examination. 15minute oral with two other people (Fidero and Angel Roth). Riordon spent the majority of the examination telling us about the errors of phenomenologists.
Wasn't he a key player in the whole "evil has being" debate?
i'm so proud of you guys being so active on here without me posting youtube videos to tempt you back. :P
Well guys, I am pleased to say that I am going to one of his classes in about an hour, so I will have to personally congratulate him. I would have to say that his class is the best that I am taking at "Ave".
