Mexican Bugs...
A famous Mexican song is "La Cucaracha." Why these people glorify such a horrible bug in such a way is beyond me. But the folks down here not only sing about the bugs around here...they eat them too!!! Jumiles is the name of the bug that they eat...tastes like cinnamon I am told...oh! and they eat them live. But by far the worst of all bugs I have heard about down here in Cuernavaca is the Vinegrillo.
Above is a picture of one...they grow to about 5-6 inches in length and spit at their enemies to scare them...other than that, they are basically harmless. My teacher here told us that she once found one under her bed...so you can guess what I do every night before going to bed!

Wow! Nasty looking thing. You're a brave man Brendan.
AGGHHH.....SICK!!! Brendon, you need to check out my note on facebook. VERY similar story, except with SCORPIONS....SICKKKKK!!!!!!
Oh my! That's disgusting! And being harmless does nothing to improve its position in my book. In fact, it's irrelevant. Being ugly and creepy/crawly instantly demonizes it.
