Now I Have Seen Everything:

I just finished my Nominalism mid-term and I am exhausted.
So I thought I would post something about it.
I went to look for pictures of Nominalism.
There really aren't too many.
<----- This is a picture of William of Ockham.
I make that same face when I read his philosophy.
Boy, doesn't he look happy and fulfilled!
I, however, did find this picture:

I have no clue what it is or what it means... but i guess it is Nominalism in picture form or personified or something... I sure don't know.
So I thought I would ask everybody to try to explain this picture.
The winner gets... hmm. He gets... uh... uh... a prize, yeah a prize. A real, not made-up prize.
~awesome sean
P.S. I am afraid my test made as much sense as this picture.

The donut-and-hose-shaped object the nominalist is attached to is called an "O-Meter." It registers how much bullshit is in his system, and then fills him up to the appropriate level if he's running a little low. Also known as the "sphincter sterci," Nominalists use the O-Meter to spiritually ascend the Wall of Ockham. Ockham was a BS lvl 9 by the time he died, and no one else has gotten as far as he did. The trumpet device is used once the Nominalist has reached a BS lvl of 3 or higher. Once he has, the Nominalist is now free to blow on this trumpet and send the goods flying everywhere! This is a good way for them to recruit more Nominalists, because no one can escape noticing the smelly, loud, flatulent substance that the trumpet (or, O-Horn) emits. Hope this helps!
LOL
I am not even going to try
The picture means...whatever you want it to mean.
For me, the fellow in the picture represents modern man who simply wishes to go about blissfully blowing his horn. But the sound of his horn is such that he can make no sense of it apart from Nominalism, which is where the thing attached to his nose comes in. That devise is intended to keep his brains, which reject the Nominalist input, from forcing their way out of his body. The waves moving toward the whole indicate that devise fails in its purpose, and his brains (symbolising his mind) go down into the whole of oblivion.
I do rather like what the picture means to you, Dave. How does my account rank on the BS O-Meter?
